Your Physical, Emotional and Intellectual Health
The mind-body connection impacts both your mental state and physical health. A strong mind-body connection lowers blood pressure, anxiety, and fatigue while improving digestion, rest, pain management, cognitive function like memory and attention, and strengthens your immune system and stresses tolerance.

Your body’s ability to cope with stress is especially important since stress can lead to illnesses. Taking time to check in with your mental and physical health is so important. The body and mind are closely interconnected and one can’t be healthy without the other.

To help improve the body-mind connection, my clients and I make the time to journey with mindfulness and awareness via the body, to develop, empower, and strengthen both the physical and emotional aspects of the being. Using gentle touch modalities, we embark on a beautiful and empowering passage, tapping into this connection while noticing feelings, thoughts, aches, sensations and behaviors.
This work helps release pain and discomfort, while having the opportunity, should the client choose, to work with negative emotions and past self-destructive mechanisms. An important part of this work is to build and strengthen new self-fulfilling, balanced, and loyal inner-self that develops and enhances the body-mind connection.

"Body, emotion and mind are as integrated as the parts of the body. Just as a change in one part elicits an adaptive change in other parts of the body and, therefore, from the person as a whole, and just as nothing can go wrong in one part without affecting others, so also is it true that that what goes on in the mind affects every bodily function. Also, what goes on in the body influences the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of our being.

Under the principle of a unity of a person, it needs to be recognized that the total person is the environment in which the parts live and operate. Every quality and circumstance of a person's life influence the quality of function of every cell, tissue, organ, and system."

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a complementary treatment that releases tensions deep in the body to help reduce pain, relieve dysfunction, and improve whole-body health and performance.
By facilitating the body's natural and innate healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive healthcare measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease.

CST deals with physical aspects and can help decreasing pain, increase function, help with anxiety and depression, sinuses, headaches, migraines, TMJ, and much more.

SomatoEmotional Release is a manual therapy process that expands on the core principles of CranioSacral Therapy to help rid the body of the residual effects of past trauma and negative emotional experiences.
